Back-end Developer

For our Rome office, in line with expanding our team, we are looking for a Back-end Developer with proven experience in the development and implementation of web applications on the back-end side.

As a Back-end Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure that allows Omnienergy's products to be accessible to clients and our developers. You will collaborate with the frontend team to work on the graphical interfaces of our products, and with the data science team to store and make accessible the data used and generated by the artificial intelligence engines. Your eagerness to learn and take on new challenges will be essential to ensuring success in this role. • Good knowledge of the English language

• At least 2 years of experience in back-end development
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases
• Consolidated experience in creating RESTful APIs, OAuth2 flows, integrating third-party libraries and SDKs, and creating custom libraries and SDKs
• Excellent knowledge of Python
• Good knowledge of JavaScript
• Good knowledge of Flask
• Excellent knowledge of Serverless infrastructures and NoSQL architectures
• Excellent knowledge of managing git repositories, commits, and pull requests in small to medium-sized teams

Data Scientist

For our Rome office, in line with expanding our team, we are looking for a Data Scientist with at least two years of experience in the industry.

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Omnienergy's artificial intelligence products. To achieve this, you will handle (as needed) the entire scientific pipeline of the product, from selecting data sources to identifying predictive trends within them, as well as designing and implementing artificial intelligence models. You will collaborate with the designated Backend Developer to keep the model online and accessible to clients. In the early stages of your role, you will primarily work on Orchestra. Your scientific acumen and interpersonal skills will be crucial in developing products that are not only economically impactful but also highly beneficial for the environment.

• At least two years of experience in a data scientist role or equivalent
• Good knowledge of both written and spoken Italian and English (B2-C1 level)
• Good knowledge of Python
• Good knowledge of key data science packages (Scikit-learn, Pandas, Matplotlib).
• Good knowledge of machine learning and at least one of the following packages: TensorFlow or Pytorch.

• Strong communication skills to transform data into understandable insights
• A strong drive to achieve goals and the ability to independently design solutions

• Knowledge of MLops methodology for deploying and maintaining ML models in the cloud
• Experience in research, particularly applied to predictive modeling and analytics
• Experience in software development, best practices, and the ability to write documented and maintainable code
• Completing the profile: previous experience in the energy sector and a results-oriented mindset
